State high court denies auditor’s direct appeal in case against Commission on Judicial Performance

The auditor’s motion to skip the 1st District Court of Appeal cited the long delay of the California Legislature’s 2016 audit order.

The California Supreme Court denied a direct appeal from lawyers for State Auditor Elaine Howle as she fights to complete a legislatively ordered audit of the Commission on Judicial Performance.
