Judge Mark J. Bennett, a newly appointed member of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, has for the first time since his confirmation signed his name to a published order, giving a peek into the recently minted bench member's jurisprudence.

Bennett, President Donald Trump's first successful appointee to the federal appellate court, took his seat on the 9th Circuit this July, but has been fairly quiet since.
