Apple says Qualcomm counsel ‘feigned surprise’ about opening statement

Qualcomm accused Apple Inc. of making “legally erroneous” and “highly prejudicial statements” to the jury during opening statements in a patent infringement trial.

After Qualcomm Inc. accused Apple Inc. of making "legally erroneous" and "highly prejudicial statements" to the jury during opening statements in a patent infringement trial, Apple told the judge on Thursday Qualcomm should have raised concerns long before trial began instead of "feigning surprise at Apple's opening statement and seeking an improper and inflammatory curative statement."
