Bankruptcy stay violation ruling serves as warning to creditors

Klein from the Eastern District of California entered a judgment in favor of bankruptcy debtors and against Bank of America, N.A. for actual damages arising out of repeated Section 362 stay violations in the amount of $1,074,581.50 and punitive damages in the amount of $45,000,000.
