Bleak outlook for Trump’s remaining California judge nominees

While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed earlier this year to "leave no vacancy behind," there may not be enough time or interest in pushing through the nominations of most of Trump's 11 remaining district court nominees in the state.

President Donald Trump's remaining nominees for California federal court vacancies are unlikely to be confirmed, according to attorneys familiar with the process who asked not to be identified.
