US judge names 4 women to 5-lawyer Google class action team

U.S. District Judge James Donato named Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer partner Hae Sung Nam and Bartlit Beck partner Karma M. Giulianelli as co-lead counsel. Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy partner Nanci E. Nishimura, Milberg Phillips Grossman LLP partner Peggy J. Wedgworth and Korein Tillery partner George Zelcs were also selected for leadership positions on the steering committee.

Keeping up with a trend among federal judges insisting on more diversity in legal teams, four women were appointed Tuesday to five spots to head high-stakes class litigation against Google that alleges it squashed competition in the app distribution market.
