Girardi and counsel no show at bankruptcy hearing
Russell issued an order late Tuesday afternoon authorizing the move, and said at the hearing he hoped the U.S. Trustee would appoint two interim trustees, one for each of the involuntary bankruptcy petitions Girardi's creditors filed against him and his firm.
The U.S. Trustee will appoint an interim Chapter 7 trustee to handle the finances of embattled attorney Thomas V. Girardi and his firm, Girardi Keese, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Barry Russell said in a hearing Tuesday.
