Girardi ordered into Chapter 7, brother claims he’s incompetent

Earlier on Wednesday, Robert Girardi filed a motion seeking to serve as his brother's guardian while asking Russell to postpone a responsive pleading to creditors until February. Tom Girardi's response had been due Tuesday.

Famed plaintiffs' attorney Thomas V. Girardi was ordered into Chapter 7 bankruptcy Wednesday, a few hours after his brother asserted he was incompetent.
