San Francisco city workers alleged vaccine mandate violated rights
Plaintiffs, ranging from law enforcement officers and hospital, parks, and Public Utilities Commission workers, said that, “Rather than complying with its obligations under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act — or corresponding state law — [San Francisco] responded by issuing blanket denials of requests for accommodation.”




San Francisco has been sued by 135 current and former public sector workers accusing the city of violating their religious and medical rights when it denied reasonable accommodations from its mandate that all workers receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
