LA’s urgent skid row receivership petition filed in wrong court

“We have things like this flood on a daily basis, which is why we requested this court to take these exceptional circumstances into consideration to issue an interim order today for the receiver,” Deputy City Attorney Steven S. Son.

LOS ANGELES — The LA city attorney’s petition to place the Skid Row Housing Trust under receivership was erroneously filed in an independent calendar court, so Judge Teresa M. Traber transferred it for reassignment, though the city said the matter is too urgent to wait.
