A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel was skeptical Monday of a revised settlement of a class action between a plaintiff and the owner of the Tinder dating app, wondering aloud if a district court judge in Los Angeles should be removed from the case.
A different appellate panel rejected an earlier agreement between plaintiff Lisa Kim and Match Group LLC, owner of Tinder, and objectors to that earlier deal oppose the revised one too.
