Fighting back
California filed 123 lawsuits against the federal government during Trump's first presidency and is preparing for more under Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta.

Once more, California will be in the role of aggressively challenging Trump era policies. During the first Trump presidency, California filed 123 suits against the federal government. On Thurs., Nov. 7, California Gov. Gavin Newsom called a special legislative session to ensure funding for these actions during the second Trump presidency. California Attorney General Rob Bonta has pledged to bring them and to represent California's much more progressive policies in the courts....
