Duke Nukem: COJA Calamity 1982
In a rare clash at a 1982 Commission on Judicial Appointments hearing, Governor-elect George Deukmejian blocked outgoing Governor Jerry Brown's nominees to California's new Sixth District Court of Appeal, marking the only time appellate candidates were denied confirmation.
