ORANGE - Superior Court Judge Juliet O. Macaulay said she is surprised by how much she enjoys her work after 2 1/2 years on the bench.
"Part of the reason I transitioned was that I realized in my former job I had become more of an administrator," she said, referring to being a chief administrative law judge and deputy director at in the California Department of Social Services State Hearings Division.
