FAIRFIELD -- Behind the wheel of his parents' 1967 Ford Thunderbird, a teenage D. Scott Daniels couldn't help pushing his luck with the gas pedal.

The thrill ride, however, ended with a citation.

"I got a ticket for reckless driving," Daniels said. "I was doing 60 in a 40 mile per hour zone."
