MURRIETA -- It's a problem that many judges accept as a given: At some point, lawyers are going to give them shallow excuses or lie to justify a failure to show up for a hearing or file a crucial document on time.
Judge F. Paul Dickerson III said he doesn't have that problem in his courtroom.
