Benjamin C. Ellis has joined Buchalter as an attorney in their litigation and environmental and natural resources practice. As a litigation attorney, Ellis' environmental law experience includes working on matters associated with water contamination, permitting disputes, CERCLA and toxic exposure. Ellis has worked alongside government groups: Department of Toxic Substances Control, California Public Utilities Commission, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, California Air Resources Board, Regional Water Quality Control Boards and Caltrans.

Ellis earned his J.D. with a concentration in environmental law from Vermont Law School. Ellis received his B.A. from The Evergreen State College.

Zachary B. Young has joined Buchalter as an Attorneys in their Litigation Practice. Litigation Attorney Zachary Young advises clients on matters involving contract disputes, fraud, intellectual property rights, including trade secret misappropriation, class action matters, and other complicated business disputes. Young has been successful in cases in both federal and state court, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Olga Vitalyevna Mack joined California Law Revision Commission in Dublin.

Mack started her legal career as an IP litigator at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Most recently, she was general counsel at ClearSlide from 2015 to 2017.

Mack is a co-founder of SunLaw Network, an organization that helps the next generation of women general counsel and in-house leaders by providing peer mentoring and connecting with current general counsel.

She also founded the Women Serve on Board movement, which makes a fiscal and social case for gender equality on corporate boards of directors.
