How e-filing lets tiny errors kill big cases

E-filing systems increasingly allow minor technical or formatting mistakes to trigger document rejections that can jeopardize deadlines and effectively determine the outcome of major cases.

I enjoyed Edwin Hong's article last Thursday about the epidemic of unnecessary rejection of e-filings by over-zealous filing clerks, and the often-lengthy delays before the filer learns of the rejection.
