District Judge Consuelo B. Marshall

Times certainly have changed since Consuelo B. Marshall began practicing law.
The chief judge for the U.S. District Court for the Central District was not only the first woman lawyer hired by the Los Angeles city attorney's office in 1962 but also the first woman of color.
Marshall remembers that day well.
